A good joint for a night of casual dining, drinking, and watching a game. It was pretty packed on a Saturday night but they managed to accommodate us quickly.
We tried the burger and some pizzas along with drinks. The burger was actually quite good as were the pizzas.
The service was really attentive (some may say TOO attentive) but better more than less. -

Larry's isn't bad but isn't wonderful either. Serves a purpose- a place to grab a drink and a bite when you get off the beach. It's a little cramped- was warm with not a lot of air flow. Guests next to you are very close. Great for meeting people.
They have happy hour specials. We ordered a couple beers on special and got the wrong drinks served. We fixed that then the waitress said she lost our appetizer order so we reordered that also. Maybe they were busy and a bit scattered. No worries.
Had the Asian wings which were crispy and delicious. Spicy so make sure you have beverages. My lips were burning.
Had the sweet potato fries which were yummy. Came with 3 different dipping sauces and all were good. Pizzas looked tasty but we didn't try one. Asked our neighbors how the sangria was and they said tasted like iced tea. So skip the sangria. -

I was wandering around Windward Avenue in Venice CA, the only street remaining along with the 5 canals that date back to the original Abbot Kinney designed Venice, when I came across this interesting joint. Larry's is a bar, casual restaurant, with interesting art, long dining area with a large fireplace outdoors under a big tent like awning that serves some good food. I admired the interior and sat for a lunch of Pears and Prosciutto with Burrata and chives. Unfortunately being gluten intolerant I couldn't have the sour dough bread. There were not a lot of GF choices in this beachy but more upscale place, at least for lunch. The interior has some nice angles and slightly different ambiance than the other eateries around Venice. I definitely will have to try a dinner here as I'm sure it has a different vibe than at lunch.

A fun and happening place to grab a drink at the bar or a table with your friends. The foods really good and they serve it up quick. It's not too rowdy to bring the fam but the majority of the patrons are people out and about for a good time. Great place. Recommend!
